Floor Puzzle

Enlarge any photo onto multiple sheets of paper and jumble them as a giant floor puzzle for your loved one to solve. Add text to create a hidden romantic message that will only be understood when fully completed.

There are no interlocking pieces to cut out, just full standard letter size papers jumbled on the floor for your loved one to place in the proper order.

Some sample messages include:

I love how we fit so perfectly together.
Together we have everything.
My heart was in pieces until I met you.
Can't wait until we are together again.
You've taken the jumbled pieces of my life and made me whole.

Upload a photo background and add text or simply make a text-only floor puzzle on a plain white background to save ink or toner.

The size of the puzzle is determined by the number of sheets of paper chosen. A PDF of the sliced up image is immediately available to download and print.

Some printers also allow you to do the same thing but this method is for anyone.

Click one of the images above to download a zipped .pxe editable image for Pixlr Editor.

Unzip the file by double clicking on it, go to pixlr.com and click the + Open image button to upload the unzipped .pxe file.

To edit the text, look on the right side for the Layers panel and choose the specific layer. Choose the T for text tool in the left side column. Then double click on the text to highlight and edit your own text. (You can upload your own background by adding a new layer.)

Repeat to personalize the other text layers in your own words.

Choose File > Save

Choose JPG, High quality, and then the Save button.

Take note of the name of the file as you will need to find it in your downloads folder for the next step.

Now to make the puzzle pages, go to blockposters.com and upload your saved image from Step 4 by clicking on the Upload Your Image button.

Choose 4 or 5 pages wide with the drop down, Portrait orientation, Letter format (or A4) and Have a border.

Check the box for Terms and then click the Create My Poster button.

Click Download Your Poster button.

Find the PDF file in your Downloads folder (it will be listed as blockposter-*****.pdf) and click to open. You can use your standard PDF viewer since there are no form fields.
