Place on the dashboard of a vehicle to see your personalized head-up display of affection message on the windshield using mirror printed white text.
A head-up display is a reflection that appears on the windshield of a vehicle so the driver does not need to look down while driving to read it like a standard speedometer.
White letters on a black background provide the best contrast as the letters will appear to float on the glass without any background, looking more realistic. You can also add other clipart images like the rose shown but colors do not reflect light as clear on the windshield like white. Search for white clipart if you want it to appear clearly.

Personalize your message, flip the text, cut around the black edge, and print.
Place on the dash for the one you love to see when they first sit in the vehicle. It is very important that the vehicle windshield is facing the sun based on the time of day for the message to be bright enough on the glass. You may need to turn the vehicle around in the driveway or parking spot for the best effect.
Let your partner drive and place this quickly on the dashboard before they enter the vehicle or as a surprise at any other time that is bright and sunny beforehand.
Notice: You may also want to let the one you love know to remove it off the dashboard after reading it as it can be distracting while driving.

The template should be printed on heavy cardstock US Letter or A4 Paper sizes. See paper size comparison for more info on A4 size paper. Check printer settings in the instructions below.
Instructions

Download the personalized template .psd zip file above by clicking on the button.
Find the downloaded file and click to decompress or unzip the file.
Use photopea.com photo editor and upload the unzipped .psd file.

In the right side Layers column, make sure the text layer is highlighted.
Click on the Text tool and click at the end of each name and drag to highlight. Personalize with your own names and whatever message you want.

If you want to add any white clipart or image of your choice, make sure to click on the Optional Image layer in the right column.
If not, skip to step 5.

To add an image, click File > Open & Place to choose an image from your computer.
You can arrange the image with the Move tool on the top left column and make smaller by hovering over the corners arrows around the image box.

Click on the Text (T) layer in the Layers column on the right as shown.

To make the text a mirror image, click Image > Transform > Flip Horizontally.

The text will flip as shown.

Click on the Crop tool as shown in the left column and crop any of the remaining empty black space at the bottom.
You can also leave it since the black background will not show on the glass.

Click on File > Export as > JPG to save as an image file.

Click the Save button.

Print on heavy cardstock paper which the setting varies by printer. For HP printers, the setting is usually under Finishing.
Click Scale to Fit to print the image on the full width of the page and the Print button.

Use a craft knife or scissors to cut out along the black rectangle without any white around the outside edges.
Place on the dashboard.
